Southern Oregon University beat College of Idaho 41-25 to improve to 2-0 on the new season.
Tanner Trosin had four touchdown passes while passing for 366 yards to lead the Raiders to the victory at Caldwell, Idaho.
EASTERN OREGON 27, WESTERN MONTANA 24: The No. 7 Mountaineers got their first win, beating No. 19 Montana-Western after trailing 24-12 in the third quarter.
Eastern Oregon quarterback Kai Quinn scored all three Eastern Oregon touchdowns on rushing plays and also passed for 161 yards in the win.
CENTRAL WASHINGTON 30, WESTERN OREGON 23: The Raiders had a fourth-quarter rally come up short at Bothell, Wash., in their Great Northwest Athletic Conference opener.
The Wolves trailed 30-10 when linebacker Bo Highburger returned a fumble 79 yards for a score and then Nick Duckworth threw a 57-yard touchdown pass to Torreahno Sweet. But the Wildcats were able to run out the clock.
Duckworth also had a touchdown pass to Zack Suarez.
LINFIELD 27, CHAPMAN 12: The Wildcats outscored host Chapman 17-0 in the second half to win their season opener at Orange, Calif.
Troy Fowler had two touchdown passes to J.D. Laswell, one in the first quarter and one in the fourth.
DUBUQUE 37, PACIFIC 13: The Boxers lost their season opener at Dubuque, falling behind 20-0 and not being able to catch up.
Brandon Boyd had two touchdowns for Pacific in the loss.
CLAREMONT MUDD-SCRIPPS 37, LEWIS & CLARK 16: The Pioneers lost their season opener at home.
Freshman quarterback Sawyer May led the Pioneers to a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns, including a touchdown pass to Dallas Garreaud. May completed 15 of 27 passes for 162 yards while playing the entire second half after junior Mike Machado played the first half.
