Bobby Reed Jr. of Yreka, Calif., won the Southern Oregon Bowlers Association tournament at North Bend Lanes last weekend.

Reed beat Tyger Miller of Klamath Falls 237-231 in the championship match.

Miller was the top qualifier after the opening five games of qualifying and the five-game semifinals. Reed was second.

Robert Warrick, a North Bend Lanes regular, was the top local finisher, placing sixth.

Michelle Smith of Bend, who qualified third, beat Mark Hanken of Prineville and Gary Lueker of Klamath Falls to reach the semifinals. Smith scored 238 while Hanken scored 225 to place fourth and Lueker had a 169 to place fifth.
