Forest Hills Country Club will host its annual fundraiser tournament, the Jack Dunn Memorial, on Saturday, July 21.
The tournament is the primary fundraiser for the club, and all proceeds go to the general fund for maintenance and repares as needed fo rhte course and clubhouse.
The scramble tournament is open to everyone of every skill level. Teams can have up to six golfers, and players can sign up as part of a team or as individuals to be placed on a team.
The entry fee is $45 per person and includes the golf (cart fee is separate) plus a buffet lunch after the tournament. Special events include closest to the pin contests on every hole, putting and chipping contests, miracle putts, raffles and a silent auction.
People also can support the tournament by sponsoring a tee on the golf course for $100 (sponsorships come with two free 18-hole rounds of golf at Forest Hills).
Donations for the raffle or silent auction also will gladly be accepted. Organizers would like to know what donations are going to be provided by Thursday, July 19.
On July 21, registration and special events start at 9 a.m., with the shotgun start at 10:30.
