CareWear Uniforms will hold a uniform and scrub sale on July 19 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lower Umpqua Hospital. CareWear Uniforms will set up in the conference room located at the rear of the lower parking lot. Enter through the door marked “receiving” and it’s the first door on the left.
CareWear Uniforms sells scrub pants and tops for men and women, shoes, and other medical themed accessories. These items are perfect for anyone who works in the medical field or in a job that requires scrub-style clothing.
CareWear generously gives back 10 percent of the total sales to the Lower Umpqua Hospital Foundation. The LUH Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to fostering better health care for our community. Contributions to the Foundation help maintain our hospital’s financial stability since the Foundation uses the money to support programs at the hospital. Money raised by the Foundation through donations and other activities is used to upgrade health services and modernize medical facilities, not for operating expenses. There are many ways to contribute to the Foundation. Memorial gifts can be made through the “Tree of Love” and the “Family Tree” programs, as well as the endowment program. We thank CareWear for their contribution.
The community is invited to attend the sale. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted for the public and payroll deduction for hospital employees.
