The state Department of Fish and Wildlife have stocked three popular fishing locations with tagged trout that could be worth $1 million.

Eight to 15 trout have been marked with a tag containing a number that correlates with different prizes. The fish can be caught in the Blue River Reservoirs in Lane County, Crane Prairie Reservoir in Deschutes County and Dexter.

The contest, which runs through July 8, is part of the “Wanna Go Fishing for Millions” contest, sponsored by Cabela’s, the Outdoor Channel and fish and wildlife agencies from 19 states.

Participants must register online at www.cabelas.com/fishformillions to be eligible for prizes which include Ranger boats, Costa sunglasses, Rapala fishing tackle, Abu Garcia rods and reels, Cabela’s gift cards and $2 million in cash for one lucky angler.
