Coos County Commissioners believe the county can log its land to offset shortfalls in county spending. They are wrong and it can't work because the county will be low on saleable timber soon. PERS is eating the county and state up with major increases in premiums. The only way the county can live on what it receives is to cut unnecessary jobs on the county payroll. Why people keep re-electing those people is beyond me and a lot of citizens in this county.
