Amy Rebecca (Wall) Eades

Sept. 5, 1984 - Dec. 31, 2017

Amy Rebecca (Wall) Eades was born in Coos Bay on Sept. 5, 1984 to Tim and Sue (Hill) Wall and died Dec. 31, 2017 in Corvallis, after a month of fighting kidney/liver failure. Amy was a 5th generation Coos Bay native, attended Coos Bay schools and graduated from Marshfield High School in 2003. The service of Thanksgiving for Amy’s life will be held Saturday, Jan. 13th at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Coos Bay.

Amy graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in early childhood development. At the time of her death, she was completing a master’s program in elementary education. Although Amy never got the chance to be a mother herself, she loved children, especially her niece, nephews and cousins. She worked with the Little Beavers Program in Corvallis for many years.

Amy married Jacob Eades on Halloween 2017. Jacob (also a graduate student at OSU) and Amy were best friends and loved each other very much. Jacob was Amy’s best advocate during her illness.

Family was an extremely important part of Amy’s life. She had many holiday traditions and outings that she looked forward to each year with excitement. Amy had many friends and was a friend to all. Everyone she met instantly liked her, her laugh and smile were contagious. She was fiercely loyal to her family and friends and very brave in telling her family gathered at her bedside that she was accepting this next phase of her life.

Amy spread love at all times and is survived by a loving family who miss her very much husband, Jacob; parents, Tim and Sue Wall; sisters, Liza Holland and Jill Davidson; brothers- in-law, Ralph Holland and Jason Davidson; niece, Payton; nephews, Gannon, Pierce, and Wilson; in addition to a very large family; too numerous to list individually.
