COOS COUNTY — Internationally known harmonica musician Gary Allegretto is in town teaching the community's fourth-graders, and a few lucky grown-ups and teens will get to share the fun.

Allegretto will teach a workshop at 7 p.m. April 30 at the North Bend Public Library. For $20, you get a top-quality Hohner harmonica, expert instruction, music sheet booklets and lifelong entertainment. Seating is limited to 60, with advance reservations required. This week Coos County fourth-graders, including home-schooled and Reedsport students, have been attending Harmonikids workshops conducted by internationally known harmonica musician, Gary Allegretto. 

The workshops are sponsored by the Oregon Coast Music Association as part of its yearly KinderKonzert programs to bring music enrichment to local school children. The teaching method Allegretto developed is simple, easy and encouraging. You can learn more about Harmonikids at www.harmonikids.org.
