CHARLESTON — Deputies were dispatched to the Charleston area Tuesday for a report of criminal mischief.
According to a Coos County Sheriff's press release, deputies met the victim, Charles Knaus, on Charleston Road. Knaus advised Annette Miles had broken a window out of his vehicle and threatened him with an ax. Knaus reported Miles picked up the ax and threatened to cut him. Another victim tried to intervene and was also threatened.
Miles was no longer at the scene but was later located. Miles was arrested on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, two counts of harassment, disorderly conduct II and criminal mischief III and transported to the Coos County Jail. She was held on a bail of $52,500.
