11:16 a.m., assist public in the 1700 block of Hayes St. Report of neighbor's sprinkler on too hard and water is hitting his residence. Officer responded, subject was advised of the complaint.

11:40 a.m., disorderly conduct reported in the area of Broadway and Newmark Aves. Male transient yelling and trying to stop traffic. Officer responded, checked area, unable to locate.

12:48 p.m., disorderly conduct reported in the area of Broadway Ave. and Newmark St. Several reports of male transient running in street, chasing vehicles, yelling and spitting. Officers responded, subject warned for disorderly conduct.

1:54 p.m., disorderly conduct in the 2200 block of Newmark St., arrested Gabriel Moralez, 47, on charge of disorderly conduct. Transported to Coos County Jail.

7:03 p.m., intoxicated subject in the area of Virginia and Marion Ave. Report of possibly intoxicated male throwing beer bottles into the street. Officer made contact, warned subject for offensive littering.

8:25 a.m., harassment reported in the 1900 block of Myrtle St. Caller reported phone harassment. Officer contacted suspect and mediator and assisted in clarifying how to contact each other.

8:41 a.m., warrant service at NBPD, 835 California Ave. Coos Bay Police Dept. served NBPD warrant. Arrested Eric Darrell Ekblad, 48, of Coos Bay on original charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and theft 3. Court date set.

7:09 p.m., assault reported in the area of Washington and Sherman Aves.

8:40 p.m, criminal trespassing reported in the 3200 block of Tremont Ave. Arrested James D. Dediego, 30, of North Bend, on a charge of criminal trespass 2 and warned for criminal trespasss 1. Suspect cited in lieu of custody.

9:47 p.m, accident in the 1800 block of Newmark St., vehicle vs. pedestrian, hit and run. Driver located in Coos Bay, crash team called out. Suspect Amanda N. Pence, 33, of North Bend arrested on warrants for unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Pedestrian was transported by Bay Cities Ambulance to Bay Area Hospital.

4:07 a.m., warrant service in the 1300 block of Sherman Ave. NBPD served Marion County warrant arresting Paul D. Whitney, 42, of Woodburn, on original charge of burglary 1. Also warned for trespassing. Suspect cited in lieu of custody.

8:01 a.m., criminal trespassing in the 2100 block of Broadway Ave. Business requesting transient sleeping on porch be trespassed, ongoing problem. Officers contacted the subject, delivered the message, subject was leaving the area.

10:14 a.m., warrant service at NBPD, 835 California Ave. Reedsport Police Dept. served valid NBPD warrant, arrested Joseph Charles Long, 34, on original charges of assault 4. Subject being taken to Douglas County Jail.

12:55 p.m., criminal trespassing in the 3200 block of Tremont Ave. The Mill Casino security requested officer for previously trespassed subject on property. Arrested Jacob Allen Ketchum, 25, of Coos Bay on a charge of criminal trespass 2. Suspect cited in lieu of custody.

4:20 p.m., criminal trespassing at Safeway, subject had taken beer, gave it back when confronted in parking lot. Safeway requested subject be trespassed from location. Officers responded, unable to locate subject, will trepass if located.

8:18 a.m., criminal trespassing in the 2100 block of Marion Ave., male transient on property yelling and punching ground. Officers responded, advised subject of her permanent trespass and he left upon request.

8:42 a.m., warrant service at NBPD, 835 California Ave., Coos Bay Police Department service NBPD warrant, arrested Chad Lee Fondren, 42, on original charges of violation of a restraining order.

3:11 p.m., disorderly conduct reported in the 1800 block of Virginia Ave. Business requested that transients be asked to move from property. Male involved punching window and making threats. Arrested Mathue Meighan, 28, of North Bend. Referred for charges including disorderly conduct 2, resisting arrest and attempted criminal mischief. Transported to BAH for evaluation.

5:56 p.m., criminal trespassing in the 1900 block of McPherson Ave., male at location, advised to leave and retrieve property out front of PD.

6:28 p.m., harassment reported in the 1600 block of Lincoln St. Report of neighbor threatening to spray juveniles with hose riding bikes by house. Officer made contact with caller and advised juveniles to ride on the other side of the street to resolve the dispute.

10:40 a.m., menacing reported in the area of Virginia and Sheridan Aves. Subject pointed firearm at another. Officer contacted subject, advised incident occurred in Coos Bay. Information will be referred to their officer.

12:30 p.m., hit and run reported in the 1800 block of Waite St. Occurred to parked vehicle at location, owner of vehicle does not want to pursue charges.

2:17 p.m., report of female on the McCullough Bridge. Officer contacted the subject, who is afraid of heights.

2:21 p.m., warrant service at NBPD, 835 California Ave., Coos Bay Police Department served NBPD warrant on Mark Anthony Dixon, 32, charging unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

4:23 p.m., criminal mischief reported in the 1700 block of Sherman Ave., report of broken window that happened sometime overnight. 

5:52 p.m., disturbance reported in the 1800 block of Grant Ave. Officers made contact, verbal only, one party will leave for a few hours.

10 p.m., disturbance reported in the 1900 block of Virginia Ave. Officers made contact with involved parties, one acting as a security guard of business, took other's property and threw it into the street. All parties separated. Advised to call us next time.

10:25 p.m., suspicious subject on the McCullough Bridge, report of male stepping in front of caller's vehicle. Officers made contact and male advised it was dark and he slipped off the curb for a minute.

11:47 p.m., warrant service at North Bend Police Department, 835 California Ave., arrested Christopher Larry Coker Jr., 21, of Coos Bay, on original charge of failure to appear on assault 4, strangulation, three counts of violation of a restraining order, giving false information to a police officer and trespass 2. Sept. 12

3:47 a.m., alarm in the 1500 block of Virginia Ave. Officer checked exterior and building is secure, unknown cause. Spoke with alarm company and advised they need to get a hold of customer and let them know if they keep having false alarms, NBPD will need to start sending a bill for responding.

9:37 a.m., menacing reported in the 700 block of Oregon Ave. Caller said neighbor chased him down and kicked his vehicle. Officer responded, caller wants to file menacing charges. Referred to DA's office.

11:20 a.m., criminal mischief reported in the 2100 block of Meade Ave. Report of criminal mischief at location. 

1:56 p.m., accident in the 3300 block of Broadway Ave., caller reported hit and run Thursday at location. Offcier contacted caller, advised it is not a hit and run, damage is from a door ding.

3:16 p.m., harassment reported in the 600 block of Exchange St. Caller reported phone threats from a tenant to his employee. Officer contactd the caller.

3:40 p.m., disorderly conduct reported in the area of Boynton Park, report of male and female fighting at the park. Officers responded, subject advised it was verbal only. Both warned for disorderly conduct.

4:17 p.m., narcotics investigation in the 2800 block of Oak St., report of subject using a needle at Oak Street Park. Officer responded, located methamphetamine and needle. Subject referred to DA for possession of a controlled substance.

11:33 a.m., disturbance reported in the area of Ash and 13th St., caller requested officer regarding subject removing political signs at location. Officer responded, parties separated, were advised not to remove items from private property.

2:10 p.m., criminal mischief in the 3300 block of Broadway Ave., disorderly male reportedly broke trash can, then left. Officers responded, checked area, unable to locate subject. If located, caller also wants him trespassed.

5:11 p.m., suspicious subject in the area of Wall St. and Broadway Ave., report of male transient in the brush, acting strange. Officers responded, subject was not breaking any laws.

8:26 a.m., theft reported in the 1900 block of Virginia Ave. Caller said female had stolen his and his family's shoes being washed at the laundromat. Subject last seen driving north on Broadway. Officer checked area, unable to locate.

8:38 a.m., criminal mischief reported at Hamilton and Montana Aves. Citizen reported trash left at location by transients. Officer responded and confirmed trailer that was there is gone and debris left behind. Street Dept. responded to pick up.

8:39 a.m., theft in the 2300 block of Fir St. Officer took report of missing or stolen firearm, which was actually recovered by Coos Bay Police Department on Sept. 4.

9:28 a.m., suspicious subject in the 2400 block of Connecticut. Report of female on camera looking into citizen's window at approximately 3 a.m. Linked to theft case from 2300 block of Connecticut.

12:24 p.m., report of shots fired in the 2200 block of Sherman Ave., caller said it sounded like they are coming from downtown North Bend. Officer responded, unable to locate any shots fired. However, construction on Virginia and Sherman with nail guns and hammers is occurring. 

2:33 p.m., criminal mischief in the 700 block of Florida Ave. Report from church, found backpack with ID inside, possibly linked to damage of phone and internet lines last night. Under investigation.

3:27 p.m., warrant service in at NBPD, 835 California Ave., Lincoln County Jaill served NBPD warrant, arrested Michael Scott Garrett, 36, of Newport, on warrant charging disorderly conduct 2 and criminal mischief 3. Court date set.

4:10 p.m., accident in the 1700 block of Virginia Ave., vehicle vs. pedestrian, victim declined medical.

6:21 p.m., mental subject in the 700 block of Virginia Ave., report of female throwing items out her window onto the sidewal. Female transported to Bay Area Hospital on director's hold.

Sept. 3

1:03 a.m., report of shots being fired in the 1100 block of Ferry Road. Officer checked the area, unable to locate.

3:44 a.m., report of suspicious subjects in the 1300 block of Virginia Ave. behind Chevron. Officer made contact, they advised they were looking for a dog.

3:54 a.m., disorderly conduct in the area of Virginia and Everett Ave., male in roadway near location. Officers made contact, warned for disorderly conduct, will remain in area monitoring.

4:49 a.m., disturbance in the 1300 block of Virginia Ave., report of verbal disturbance behind location. Officers contacted involved parties.

5:10 a.m., suspicious subject in the 1900 block of Virginia Ave. Report of vehicle parked in place for over three hours, officers made contact with passenger of vehicle, business no longer wanted subject to leave.

5:45 a.m., suspicious subject in the 2700 block of Broadway Ave., male on property with his belongings. Before discussion with reporting party, he got on sidewalk and headed northbound.

9:32 a.m., criminal mischief in the 2500 block of 11th St., mailbox smashed overnight, extra patrol requested.

10:20 a.m., criminal mischief in the 2200 block of Garfield St., reporting party at NBPD, reporting damage to construction equipment at location. Report taken.

10:50 a.m., criminal trespassing in the 1800 block of Newmark St. Male transient has all his stuff spread out at business. Officers responded, subject was permanently trespassed and told to move along.

12:46 p.m., disorderly conduct in the 3400 block of Ash St., report of subject defecating on property, officers responded and subject nearby. Charged with criminal trespass 2, warned for disposal of bodily fluids.

1:34 p.m., criminal trespassing in the 2500 block of Marion Ave., report that a male transient came into reporting party's yard and used her hose, requested that he be trespassed. Officers located him at the Pony Village Mall parking lot, issued a permanent trespassing order.

3:40 p.m., criminal trespassing in the 2700 block of Virginia Ave., officer flagged down by employee of location, requested subject be trespassed; officer delivered permanent trespassing order.

5:35 p;m., burglary reported in the 93000 block of Viking Lane.

6 p.m., fraud reported in the 2500 block of Pacific Ave.; report taken.

6:15 p.m., illegal camping in the 1900 block of Sherman Ave., male subject camped at location for over a week, officer made contact and advised female left again and to call if she shows back up.

8:04 p.m., disorderly conduct in the 0 block of Chappell Parkway, report of disorderly subject at location, officers made contact, verbal only.

9:27 p.m., noise complaint in the 2500 block of Sherman Ave., loud music coming from house north of reporting party's. Officers made contact, advised of complaint and they turned the music down.

10:54 p.m., suspicious conditions in the 2300 block of Tremont Ave., report of subjects in alcove being loud. Officers made contact with security guard who was advised involved parties left prior to arrival.

Sept. 2

12:05 a.m., disorderly conduct in the 2100 block of California Ave.

1:44 a.m., criminal mischief in the area of Califoria and Union Ave.

3:57 a.m., theft in the 2600 block of Virgina Ave.

9:10 a.m., suspicious conditions in the 2200 block of Marion Ave.

9:12 a.m., mental subject in the North Bend area, Suicide Hotline reporting subject. He was contacted and transported to Bay Area Hospital on a Coos Health & Wellness director hold.

11:28 a.m., burglary in the area Monroe and Connecticut, storage unit broken into at location. Officer responded, report taken for burglary 2 and theft 2.

3:55 p.m., disturbance in the area of Broadway Ave. and Newmark St., report of subject kicking a vehicle, then driver getting out with a knife, driver then left the area. Officers located both involved, neither wanted to pursue charges, involved parties separated. 

5:59 p.m., criminal trespassing in the 1700 block of Virginia Ave. Report of previously trespassed male at location. Officer advised him to move along.

6:19 p.m., criminal trespassing in the 1600 block of Virginia Ave. Report of previously trespassed subject at location. Officers made contact and advised person to move along.

7:03 p.m., North Bend fire called to Oak St. and Virginia Ave.

7:10 p.m., suspicious condictions in the 2200 block of Newmark St., suspicious calls to location, officers checked area.

7:38 p.m., suicidal subject in the North Bend area; handled.

9:04 p.m., disturbance in the area of Colorado Ave. and Arthur St., officers made contact with multiple subjects and mobile response team responded; verbal only.

10:14 p.m., noise complaint in the 2100 block of McPherson Ave., officers made contact with residents and advised them of continual noise complaints.

12:27 a.m., suspicious conditions in the 2300 block of Marion Ave.

12:39 a.m., assault reported at Mill Casino-Hotel, 3201 Tremont Ave.

5:55 a.m., disturbance in the area of Sherman and Florida Ave.

9:24 a.m., unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 1000 block of Oregon Ave.

9:42 a.m., warrant service at NBPD, 835 California Ave.

11:05 a.m., harassment reported in the 700 block of Oregon Ave.

2:26 p.m., suspicious conditions in the 1500 block of Oregon Ave.

4:53 p.m., accident at 16th St. and Broadway Ave.

7:35 p.m., suspicious subject on the McCullough Bridge.

9:50 p.m., suspicious conditions in the 2700 block of Union Ave.

10:05 p.m., suspicious conditions in the 1700 block of Sherman Ave.
