“Barbara is extremely passionate about the people we serve, and I am very excited for her to bring that passion and her leadership to our Coos Bay facility,” said Tristan Lester, vice president of parent company Life Care Centers of America’s Columbia Region, which encompasses eight facilities in Oregon and Washington.
“The staff here is wonderful,” said Hutchison. “Seniors have so much history, and they have so much need. Making their lives worth living is important to me.”
Hutchison comes to Life Care Center of Coos Bay from Windsor Gardens Rehabilitation Center of Salinas, California, where she served as administrator. Prior to that appointment, she was administrator for Katherine Healthcare in Salinas. She has 30 years of experience in senor care, including 12 years as an administrator. She has also worked in medical records, admissions and marketing.
Originally from Lodi, California, Hutchison earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Humphreys College in Stockton, California. She currently resides in Coos Bay with her husband, Mark. They have two children and three grandchildren.
Life Care Center of Coos Bay, located at 2890 Ocean Blvd., is one of three facilities in Oregon managed by Life Care Centers of America.
