The Bandon School District would like to thank our amazing community partners who participated in the GEAR Up Career Days event at Bandon High School. This event was planned to provide our students with a wide variety of career options so that they can utilize their years at Bandon School District to best support their plans.
Having community partners willing to share their time and experiences is a vital part in the success of this event. The generosity of these partners provided our students, grades 7-12, with first-hand knowledge about different careers that can be pursued both locally and remotely. These presenters provided valuable information about their education, training and work experience, as well as answered student questions about specific job activities and opportunities.
A big thank you goes out to the following for their support: Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Bandon Police Department, Banner Bank, Bay Cities Ambulance, Beach Loop Realty, CC’s Salon, Coast Community Health Center, Coos County District Attorney, Coos Forest Protective Association, Hutton Construction Inc., Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Pacific View Senior Living Community, Paciolan - a Learfield Company, Roseburg Forest Products, Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center, and the United States Air Force.
