BANDON - The Bite of Bandon was another success this year, drawing a sold-out crowd to The Barn on Saturday night to support the Bandon Community Youth Center.

The event featured "bites" from local restaurants, along with silent and live auctions. Judges were college student Kenzie Basey, Bandon High School culinary program student Jolene Smith and Bandon City Planner Dana Nichols, who awarded Best Savory Bite to The Spoon of Langlois for their Reuben sandwiches and pork belly mini tacos. Best Sweet Bite went to the Rolling Pin Bake & Brew for their mini cupcakes. Both restaurants won the same titles last year as well, but with different judges.

The People's Choice award went to Lord Bennett's restaurant for their Hawaiian tuna poke salad, and Best Display went to TeSoAria Vineyard & Winery.
