BANDON — The Port of Bandon has hired Joshua Adamson as its new administrative assistant and project manager. He will work fulltime while former project manager Linda Phillips will continue with the port, working part-time, according to Port Manager Jeff Griffin.
Adamson comes to the Port of Bandon after moving to Bandon from Portland in 2015. He is a graduate of Mount Hood Community College with an Associate's Degree and Phi Theta Kappa Honors. He has experience owning and operating businesses and has current proficiency in various computer applications, social media marketing and event planning.
While starting and raising a family, Adamson held positions with Oregon Overseas Timber and Bhome Teak Furniture just south of town as retail operations manager.
"We have no doubt that with Joshua’s organizational and customer service skills, mixed with his creativity, tech and business skills, he will be a wonderful addition to our team," Griffin said.
