BANDON - As part of the 2018 Summer Reading Program "Libraries Rock," everyone is welcome to join in a free family friendly geology adventure from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at the Bandon Public Library, 1204 11th St. SW.

"Oregon Rocks," presented by the University of Oregon Museum of Natural and Cultural History, will explore the ever-changing planet. Through hands-on activities and "rockin'" specimens, participants will dig into fossils, rocks, earthquakes and volcanoes to discover the dynamic forces that have shaped Oregon's landscape over time.

The program is sponsored by Bandon Library Friends and Foundation.
