Beginning as a 10-teacher, member based organization in 1956, Rogue Credit Union has grown to a financial co-operative with branches in Coos, Curry, Jackson, Josephine, Douglas and Klamath counties. Today, Rogue serves over 115,000 members with an asset base of over $1.3 billion and 19 branch locations. But, at Rogue, what's most important is not your assets, but giving back to our members.
At Rogue Credit Union we love Southern Oregon and the people who live here. You can see our commitment to Southern Oregon by the service we give each of our members, the products we offer and the way we support local businesses and put money back into our local community through education, scholarships and donations. It’s simply who we are. Living local ... it’s a Rogue thing!
Gene Pelham, currently serves as President and CEO of Rogue Credit Union in Medford. Pelham has over 30 years of experience in credit unions and has served in a variety of credit union movement roles. He currently serves as a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s 12th District Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council and is a current member of the board of trustees for Western CUNA Management School and the Medford/Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Northwest Credit Union Association Governmental Affairs Committee. Under Pelham's Leadership, Rogue Credit Union has been recognized locally, regionally and nationally for their community outreach programs and youth financial literacy initiatives.
“We are excited to be the Title Sponsor of the Bandon Cranberry Festival because we know a great community means a great credit union," Pelham said. "Our staff is dedicated to the community in which we live. Because of this great festival we pull staff from all over Southern Oregon to come and support this great event.”
“Community service is a guiding value that has been part of Rogue since 1956 when members of our community came together to create this great organization.”
