NORTH BEND — Little Theatre on the Bay is looking for new directors and shows for the upcoming theater season The current season at LTOB, which is wrapping up with “Shrek The Musical” in the spring, was rich with musicals. In the new season, LTOB would like to include other genres of theater such as comedies, dramas and mysteries in addition to musical theater.

To help foster some fresh talent in the theater, LTOB will be holding the first-ever New Directors Workshop at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10. The workshop will take place at the Historic Liberty Theatre, 2100 Sherman Ave. in North Bend. This workshop will offer an opportunity for potential directors to hear from a live panel of current directors and they will get a chance to ask questions about the "ins and outs" of directing a show at LTOB. The LTOB Board of Directors will also be available to answer questions and help directors navigate through the show proposal process. New directors will not want to miss this opportunity to get hands-on help.

New show proposals are due Feb. 28. You can download the proposal forms on LTOB's website, thelibertytheatre.org. If you have any questions about the New Directors Workshop, contact Jason Moore at publicrelations@thelibertytheatre.org.
