LANGLOIS - The Langlois Lions Club will be holding the annual Mary Hildebrand Memorial Plant Sale from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at the Lions Clubhouse, 48136 Floras Lake Loop.
The sale will feature an outstanding variety of house, garden and yard plants, from African violets to succulents to veggie starts.
Highlights include: Gardening experts Jennifer Ewing from 9 a.m.-noon and Kirk Johnson from noon- 3 p.m., David Woof’s pottery, coupons for Langlois Market World Famous hot dogs, specialty coffee beans and donated garden items for sale. In addition, Bandon Discovery Center’s eye-catching original fused glass plant markers will be available. Sales of these items benefit the children’s workshops at the Bandon Discovery Center and the Lions.
Business/organizational support includes: Valley Flora, 101 Plants & Things, Dragonfly Farm and Nursery, Bandon Good Earth Community Garden, B & B Farm Supply, Raincoast Arts, Old Souls Studios of Langlois, Floras Creek Brewing Co., Langlois Market, Currydale Farms and contributions from community members.
