CHARLESTON — The Internship Program at the South Slough Estuarine Research Reserve is designed to help students gain job skills and work experience in the field of natural resources.

The reserve offer a broad range of internships for university and community college students, high school students, and adults wishing to gain additional job skills and work experience. Internships opportunities exist for those interested in the sciences, research, education, business, stewardship, forestry, writing and customer service.

South Slough Reserve is currently recruiting for four fall internship positions: Environmental Education for 100 hours; Water Quality Monitoring for 150 hours; Fish Seining Research for 150 hours; and a GIS intern for 180 hours.
