Southern Oregon completed a perfect regular season by beating Montana Tech 22-10 at Butte, Mont., on Saturday.
The No. 5 Raiders finished 10-0 in Frontier Conference play with their win over the No. 22 Orediggers. Tanner Trosin had a pair of touchdown passes to Matt Boudreaux and Ray Vega added an 81-yard touchdown gallop.
Southern Oregon hosts Dickinson State of North Dakota in the first round of the NAIA playoffs at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Eastern Oregon 41, Carroll 34, OT: The Mountaineers won their finale at home, beating the Saints when Kai Quinn hit Brenden Kelly with a touchdown pass in overtime and the Eastern Oregon defense stopped Carroll on its possession.
Eastern's Nathan Harden forced overtime with a 41-yard field goal on the final play of regulation. Quinn had two touchdown passes and a pair of touchdown runs in the win. Both teams finished 4-6 overall and in Frontier Conference play.
Linfield 35, Pacific 7: The Wildcats completed a perfect run to the Northwest Conference title by building the host Boxers.
Linfield, which improved to 8-1 overall, will host Hardin-Simmons in the first round of the NCAA Division III playoffs on Saturday at noon. Pacific finished 4-4 overall and 2-4 in league play.
Wyatt Smith had three touchdown passes, two to J.D. Lasswell, and Chidubem Nnoli ran for 113 yards and two touchdowns for Linfield.
George Fox 21, Puget Sound 7: The Bruins completed their best season since reinstating the football program by beating the Loggers in Tacoma. Grant Schroeder had a pair of touchdown passes to Lane Brad Lander and James Nguyen. Wesley Riddell had a touchdown run.
George Fox finished 7-3 overall and 5-2 in Northwest Conference play, setting a program record for overall wins and tying the school record for Northwest Conference wins. Puget Sound finished 3-6.
Whitworth 57, Willamette 24: The Bearcats came up short on the road despite 128 rushing yards and three touchdowns by Joey Thurman. Willamette finished 0-9 on the season. Whitworth finished 8-2, 5-2 in the Northwest Conference.
Western Oregon 24, Simon Fraser 21: The Wolves came from behind in the fourth quarter to cap the season with a victory on Senior Day. Nick Duckworth had his third touchdown pass of the day, and second to Keoni Piceno, with 7:26 to go and Western Oregon survived when Simon Fraser missed a potential tying field goal in the final seconds.
Western Oregon finished 2-6 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference play and 3-8 overall. Simon Fraser was winless on the year.
