The next session of youth tennis classes at the William J. Sweet Memorial Tennis Center begins Monday.
Boys and girls ages 5 to 18 of all skill levels are eligible to participate. Classes are taught by Kylee Woodman, a North Bend High School graduate and former college player. A current Boys & Girls Club membership is required — the tennis center is part of the Boys & Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon.
The classes will have a three-week schedule, meeting on Mondays and Wednesdays through the third Wednesday in November.
Students ages 5-7 will meet from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m., with a cost of $56.25.
Students ages 8-10 meets from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and those 11-14 meet from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Costs for each of those age groups is $75.
Meanwhile, the team tennis program continues for students ages 12-18, meeting on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The cost for November is $135.

The Boys & Girls Club basketball season will be here soon.
The program is for boys and girls in third through sixth grade. The fee is $75 with a current club membership and fee reductions are available for those who qualify.
Teams will form and start practicing in December, with games beginning in January.
