The oval dirt track season at Coos Bay Speedway starts Saturday, April 14.
Divisions racing on the opening night include Super Late Models, Winged Sprints, Sportsman Late Models, Street Stocks, Mini Outlaws, Hornets and Humboldt Motor Sports Side by Sides.
The speedway is located about 7 miles southwest of Coos Bay on Highway 42.
The gates open at 4:30 p.m., with racing starting at 6:30. General admission is $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and students 7 to 17 and free for children 6 and under. A family pass is $25 for two adults and up to three kids.
The speedway also will host the first of two standalone Sunday drag races this weekend, weather-permitting.
The gates will open at 8 a.m., with time trials scheduled for 11 a.m. and racing at 1 p.m.
The cost is $35 per driver, while spectators get in for $12 (kids 6 and under get in for free).
