COOS BAY —A 21-year-old Coos Bay man stole a 78-year-old woman’s bicycle at her Cape Arago residence Saturday.

Dakota Maine was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants, unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and criminal trespass II by Oregon State Police. He was also charged with burglary and theft by the Sheriff’s Office.

A Coos County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a report of a burglary Saturday.

A Cannondale racing bicycle, valued at $2,500, was stolen.

Oregon State Police had located Maine in a stolen vehicle nearby, with the bicycle in the brush.

The bicycle was returned to its owner.

Maine is currently being held at the Coos County Jail in lieu of $190,000 bail.
