In these days of fire disasters and political strife, we each are tasked with doing something useful. Some in our community are on the fire lines, some donate money, food, and provisions to those impacted by the fire, others help shelter evacuees (human and non-human). Some people share with others about local, state, federal issues. Some people participate in local churches, schools, libraries, park systems. Some people discuss and clarify what is going on in our state, our nation, and our world.
It is useful to educate ourselves on all sides of issues that touch each of us. Emotions run high, but remember that each of us is responsible for doing something helpful in our communities. Not everyone can fight on the fire lines, but everyone can help in their own ways. Be creative about where you can be useful.
