When I opened the editorial page of yesterday's paper imagine my surprise! Your editorial board actually came out of its cave and lambasted the Trump/Conservative predatory tax cut for the rich plan. After hibernating for many months, this was a welcome sight.

If there would have been similar denouncements from your board members and/or letters to that effect over the Trump months I wouldn't have felt the necessity of pumping out so many letters, as I am reluctant to be needlessly redundant. Unfortunately, there have been so many right-wing outrages that many such promulgations have been lost to the one per month rule. Only the Republican incompetence and dysfunction has deterred even more toxic depredations.

Currently we see Senator McConnell led denouncements of candidate Roy Moore for past pedeophelic episodes when most Republican congressmen voted to kill thousands of Americans (and may still succeed in doing so) with the sabotage of the ACA and the cutting off of affordable health care in order to get more tax cuts for the very rich. One would hope that this paper's board members would grow another progressive pair and tackle that hypocrisy and the now blatant bribery by the oligarchs.

I have noted to you that there seems to be a dearth of thought provoking letters this year if not even before that. In that regard, I hope my Weinstein letter is in the pipe line (add a second o to Me too) as it was not acknowledged. Another letter, written at the same time on another subject, has yet to be submitted so I can't very well commend the board members for yesterday's editorial.
