Recently I attended a meeting at the College Park Church on Newmark in NB. Since I live in that area I had concerns in regards to their plans for a warming center for the homeless families. It sounds like a safe plan for the area, especially the idea of more lighting in their parking lot, plus security cameras.
Now, if the city of North Bend could increase the wattage in the city street lights or replace with LED bulbs we all would feel a lot safer, and maybe lower the crime rate and save money for the city in the long run.
Is there a good reason for the low wattage? Let me know, otherwise let's let the city know our concerns.
