Marlene LaVerna McCutcheon, 72, passed away unexpectedly Dec. 18, 2017 at her home in Vancouver, Wash..
She was born Nov. 5, 1945 in Lawrence, Kansas to Harry Lawrence and Ethel Mary Glock.
Marlene was raised in Coquille and married Tom McCutcheon in May 1971. They lived and worked in North Bend for many years, then moved to Vancouver, Wash. to spend their retirement years. Marlene enjoyed sewing, quilting and cross-stitch. Her family was blessed with the many beautiful handmade gifts that she gave so generously.
Marlene is survived by her husband, Tom McCutcheon; two step-sons, Daniel and Russell McCutcheon; and three grandchildren; her older brother, Alvis Glock and his wife Norma; and nieces, Cindy Lillie, Michele Glock and Denise Harris.
Marlene was preceded in death by her oldest brother, Harry Lawrence Glock, Jr in 1948; her father, Lawrence Glock in 1956; her twin brother, Marlin Glock in 1980; and her mother, Ethel Glock in 2006.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Vancouver, Washington.
