Recovered stolen vehicle: Coos Bay Police recovered a stolen vehicle at 4:42 a.m. on Highway 42 and Roderick. Male subject was arrested and charged with attempting to elude, resisting arrest, and reckless driving. He was transported to Coos County Jail.

Fire: A possible fire was reported at the Red Lion Hotel on North Bayshore Drive at 7:45 a.m.

Burglary: Burglary of three storage units was reported at 9:36 a.m. on Ocean Boulevard.

Fight: A fight was reported at 1:28 p.m. on Broadway Street.

K-9 Training: K-9 training was being conducted on D Street at 1:35 p.m.

North Bend Police

Monday, Feb. 20

Suicidal subject: The Coos County Sheriff's Office was required to conduct a welfare check at 1:16 a.m. on Sherman Avenue after subject told Coos Health and Wellness he was feeling suicidal. Officers contacted subject who advised he wasn't going to hurt himself or do anything that night. He then shut the door in their faces.

Found property: Someone reported finding a lawn mower in their garage at 8:49 a.m. on Brussels Street. It was brought to the station for safe-keeping.

Suspicious subject: Woman reported a man aggressively approaching her at 5:06 p.m. on Virginia Avenue. Officers responded and discovered that the male subject was trying to get people to buy him marijuana.

Suspicious conditions: Coos County Sheriff's Office reported a 911 call of a stolen police car at 9:25 p.m. on Oregon Avenue. The male at the location told officers the woman who called was having mental issues and that nothing was going on. Officers logged the information.
