Two people were injured and taken to Bay Area Hospital after a car collided with a postal vehicle Wednesday.

Police said a Ford Focus hit a U.S. Postal Service truck at 12:37 p.m. near the 2800 block of Ocean Boulevard.

The roof of the Ford Focus was removed with the Jaws of Life to extract the vehicle's driver.

North Bend, Coos Bay and Oregon State police assisted at the scene. More information will be released when the investigation is complete, police said.

So? What was she doing at the time that she didn't see this postal vehicle? What was her diversion? Better not be a cellphone. I got nothing but harsh words for those who use one while driving. x
