NORTH BEND — Is your nonprofit group thinking about writing a grant? If so, consider coming to the North Bend Public Library's "Researching Grants for the First-Time Grant Writer" workshop 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at the library. No registration is required.
Library Director Gary Sharp will guide grant seekers through the research process, using reference books and the Internet. The workshop provides tips on selecting Oregon foundations for grant funds and gives a brief look at state and federal government grant programs. Grant writing is not covered in this presentation.
This presentation also includes recommended books and websites that help first-time applicants get stated in preparing grant proposals.
The workshop is free and will be held in the Library's large meeting room. For more information, call the North Bend Public Library at 541-756-0400.
