CHARLESTON — As part of the University of Oregon’s “Innovation Day,” the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology invites the public to visit our laboratories between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27. This is an opportunity to hear about the world-class research conducted by scientists at the OIMB.
Laboratories of the following scientists will be open: Richard Emlet, Ecology, functional morphology and evolution of marine invertebrate larvae and juveniles; Aaron Galloway, Ecology, trophic interactions in marine food webs, lipid and isotopic biomarkers; Svetlana Maslakova, Biodiversity, systematics and evolution of development in marine invertebrates; Alan Shanks, Biological oceanography, larval ecology and animal behavior; George von Dassow, Cell biology and embryology of marine invertebrates; and Craig Young, Reproductive biology, larval development, ecology of deep sea invertebrates.
