LANGLOIS — The Trinity Alps Chamber Players ensemble of world-class musicians will come to the Oregon Coast, for a special concert of chamber music that will feature wind and string instruments. This group of talented musicians will give a free program starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, at the Old Langlois Cheese Factory, 94179 Allen Boice Drive.
Founded in 2011, the Trinity Alps Chamber Music Festival has presented over 200 free public concerts across Northern California and Oregon, and featuring musicians from across the United States, Canada, and Europe. The program will feature classical and contemporary music, including Mozart's lyrical "Quartet for Oboe and Strings," Weber's virtuosic "Clarinet Quintet," works by Kodaly and Martinu, and music from the 1986 film "The Mission."
Donations are appreciated and support this organization, to help continue its mission to present classical music in deserving communities, and to bring music to youth programs and schools.
