COOS BAY — Southwestern Oregon Community College’s Small Business Development Center will be offering the following classes starting in March 2018.
Ready, Set, Start Your Business — Is a great 2 hour start up class to assist the first time business owner learn about the critical “first steps” that everyone faces when considering starting a new business. March classes: 10 a.m.-noon, Thursday, March 1; 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, March 7; 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, March 14; 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20; and 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday, March 28. The cost is $20 per person, payable at the class.
What’s Your Plan – A four-session course writing a business plan that gets results. The class meets at 5:30-7:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday starting April 9. If you are considering starting a new business you can use this as a feasibility study. If you are looking to expand, or need to apply for business funding, you need a completed business plan. This class is required for businesses completing the Dream Savers program through NeighborWorks Umpqua. The cost is $125
