NORTH BEND — "Annie" is a Broadway musical based upon the popular Harold Gray 1920'S comic strip, "Little Orphan Annie," with music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin and book by Thomas Meehan. It's the extraordinary story of a spunky little orphan embarking on a child Odyssey-like quest for her missing parents. Come sing with a talented cast such iconic songs as "Tomorrow," "Hard Knock Life," and "Think I'm Gonna Like It Here," among many other favorites.

Directed by Joe Vos, "Annie" opens Friday, Feb. 9 at Little Theatre on the Bay's newly refurbished Liberty Theatre, located at 2100 Sherman Ave, North Bend. The show, featuring a talented cast, runs weekends through Sunday, Feb. 25. Show times for Friday and Saturday evening performances is 7 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. This year, opening night proceeds to "Annie" will be donated to A Family For Every Child, an organization that heads up the foster care and adoption of children in the Southern Oregon area.
