MYRTLE POINT — Oregon State University Coos County Extension Master Food Preservers are spreading the word about Sweet & Savory Spreads and Sauces. The community is invited to join them for a four-hour workshop on Saturday, March 10, at the Extension Building where they will demonstrate making delicious spreads and sauces that will satisfy both your sweet tooth and your savory side.
Participants will do a hands on lab where they will get to make and take home their own jar of sauce or spread. The Sweet & Savory Spreads & Sauces workshop is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oregon State University Extension Office in Myrtle Point. Cost is $10.
