COOS BAY — Coos Bay Public Library offers anyone an opportunity to learn about using Gmail, an internet based email account that is accessible anywhere you can log onto a computer.

The library not only offers the public use of computers but also gives classes on how to create and use a free email account. Those who attend the Beginning Gmail class will learn basic functionality including how to read, create, send, and delete emails. Class also will cover how to view and attach pictures or other electronic files.

Users will become familiar with Gmail terminology, proper etiquette, and other free email options. Attendees should be comfortable using a computer mouse and the Internet. A cell phone with text messaging is also a prerequisite.
