Thirty seven teams competed over the weekend at the 6th BBQ, Blues and Brews on the Bay at The Mill Casino-Hotel in North Bend. The competition took place in four categories as well as a Mac 'N Cheese competition. Smokin Timbers Northwest was named the overall champion despite not winning a category. They were third in brisket, fifth in chicken, sixth in pork and 11th in pork ribs. Pitbull BBQ-USA was second overall and Smoke324 was third. Dances with Smoke Barbeque won the chicken competition followed by Big Bite BBQ and Smoke324. Utah BBQ Company won the pork ribs event with Fat Dad's BBQ second and Rusty's BBQ third. Son of Smoke won the pork competition with MaddDog's BBQ second and Pittbull BBQ-USA third. Warpig BBQ & Sausage Co. won the brisket competition with Pittbull BBQ-USA second and Smokin Timbers Northwest finishing third. The Mac 'N Cheese competition had 21 competitors and was won by Jerimiah Johnson Mountian Man BBQ. Double Horseshoe Cookers finished second and Rooftop BBQ was third.
