NORTH BEND — Oregon Care Partners will host a free, instructor-led class titled “Understanding Medicines in Older Adults: Care Team Principles” designed to help anyone who cares for an aging Oregonian learn more about quality improvement strategies and medication safety within a care setting. This one-day class is free of charge, thanks to funding from the State of Oregon and partnerships with trusted non-profits including the Alzheimer’s Association and Oregon Health Care Association.
The information is designed to help professional caregivers and others who care for aging Oregonians optimize resident care through teamwork, medication review and positive communication. A professional instructor will share real-world experience in an interactive classroom environment. Anyone who cares for an aging family member or loved one, as well as those who work in professional caregiver settings, public safety or social work, are invited to attend this free class.
