MYRTLE POINT — The Coos County Livestock Association’s annual meeting and dinner will be Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Coos County OSU Extension located at 631 Alder St. in Myrtle Point. Registration will begin at 5 p.m. followed by the business meeting promptly at 5:30 p.m. Dr. Serkan Ates, a new professor with OSU’s Department of Animal and Rangeland Science will be the keynote speaker.
A catered tri-tip and chicken dinner will be served at 7 p.m.; cost is $25 per person.
"It’s really a great meeting, and no matter how large or small your operation, if you are a livestock producer in the area, you are welcome to attend," said a spokeswoman.
