LANGLOIS - The following events are featured at the Langlois Library:

Langlois Public Library presents A Night at the Library, a movie night, at 6 p.m., Friday, April 13, featuring "The Greatest Showman," as well as popcorn to snack on. Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams, Zac Efron, and Zendaya star in this musical biography that tells the story of P.T. Barnum and the Barnum & Bailey Circus. The movie is rated PG for thematic elements including a brawl. For more information contact the Langlois Public Library at 541-348-2066. 

A representative from South Coast Business Employment Corporation/WORKSOURCE Oregon will be available the third Tuesday of every month at the Langlois Library. The next event is Tuesday, April 17. Job seekers and business representatives are encouraged to stop by to discuss available services. Classroom training and on-the-job training programs are available for eligible individuals. SCBEC currently provides certified nurse's assistant training at the Coos Bay Corporate Headquarters. Appointments may be made by calling Mo Aakre at 541-751-8506.

Veterans Outreach Day at the Langlois Public Library will be held from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, April 18. The outreach will continue on every third Wednesday of the month. Get help filing service connection claims, obtain military documents, medical enrollment, housing assistance and additional services.

Play and Learn Story Time at the Langlois Public Library is held selected Fridays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Langlois Public Library is partnering with Kaleidoscope Play & Learn to bring an interactive story time to parents or caregivers and their children (0-5 years). Activities include telling stories, doing crafts, playing games and having fun learning. Play and Learn Story Time is offered April 13, 20, and 27 and May 4, 11, 18, and 25.
