1:23 a.m., suspicious vehicle at Fahy Road/Weiss Estates. Unable to locate owners, vehicle towed by NB Towing.

10:01 a.m., possible criminal trespassing in the 2900 block of Spinnaker Drive, nobody is in residence today, owner contacted and he does not know if he wants to pursue charges.

11:20 a.m., information exchanged for non-injury accident that occurred earlier in the 1200 block of Indiana Avenue.

1:25 p.m., casual contact in the 20 block of Ninth Street SW, subject given courtesy transport to grandmother's residence, school notified.

5:47 p.m., combative resident in the 1000 block of Sixth Street SW, is hitting residents and trying to hit staff. Bay Cities Ambulance transported resident to Southern Coos Hospital.

7:53 p.m., assault reported in the 700 block of Second Street SE, son was visiting his father last weekend in Bandon, father punched him in the chest. Report taken.

9:43 p.m., mental subject in 800 block of Jackson Street, woman said she does not want to hurt anyone, is paranoid, possible medication reaction, will get her meds checked with doctor tomorrow.

10:42 p.m., anonymous man reported older red car driving about 45 mph in the 300 block of Ninth Street SW; driver not intoxicated, probation officer authorized detention, taken to Coos County Jail.

1:30 p.m., line down in the area of Third and Klamath, sent message on Everbridge to Bandon Power.

9:46 p.m., neighbor's dog across the street showed up in caller's yard in the 1000 block of Grand Avenue, ongoing issue, dog has returned home. Logged for information.

Jan. 19

8:08 p.m., as the result of a traffic stop, arrested Lance Eugene Williams, 47, of Bandon on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Taken to Coos County Jail, BAC 0.13 percent.

8:33 a.m., deceased subject, caller said husband just shot himself, transferred to Bay Cities Ambulance, victim removed by Amling-Schroeder Bandon Chapel.

8:55 a.m., multiple calls on head-on accident at mile post 254 on U.S. Highway 101, caller transferred to Oregon State Police and Bay Cities Ambulance, paged Bandon Fire Department.

9:55 a.m., recovered stolen property in the 1300 block of Oregon Avenue, arrested Sam Merlin Neal, 62, of Roseburg on charge of probation violation, additional charge unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Taken to Coos County Jail.

12:56 p.m., deceased subject in the 500 block of Garfield Avenue. Victim removed by Amling-Schroeder Bandon Chapel.

Jan. 20

11:54 p.m., suspicious conditions in the 3200 block of Beach Loop Drive, caller hears people inside vehicle screaming and banding around in cab, checked area, contained subject, they were both intoxicated, no sign of dispute.

9:41 p.m., fight reported in the 300 block of Second Street SE, three-four subjects on ground, all parties told to leave, called contacted.

Jan. 22

8:53 a.m., City Hall has person in lobby requesting assistance. Assistance rendered.

11:30 a.m., welfare check in the 1000 block of Michigan Avenue. Made contact with woman and she is fine.

5:08 p.m., caller in the area of June Avenue SE requesting vehicle check to see if vehicle is stolen. Person he just met wants to give Jeep for free of lot across from Wilson's Market. Handled.

5:46 p.m., civil problem in the 1000 block of Grand Avenue, caller let person stay at residence 30 days, now wants her out. Advised it was a civil process.

8:10 p.m., alarm sounding at business in the 20 block of Michigan Avenue. Contacted assistant manager, alarm weather-related, handled.

9:43 p.m., dog at large in the 800 block of 10th Street SW. Caller said gate blew open and female Scottie dog ran out of it. Checked area, unable to locate, logged for information.

9:49 p.m., criminal trespassing in the 55000 block of Rosa Road, caller wants woman to leave, she won't. Contacted woman, she will be staying inside residence. Caller to decide if he wants her removed.

Jan. 24

12:53 a.m., welfare check in the 1000 block of Michigan Avenue. Neighbor not answering phone, caller said she was threatened yesterday and now not answering. Checked on woman, she is fine.

8:03 a.m., illegal camping in the 60 block of Michigan Avenue, caller reported woman staying in her car for about three weeks now. Contacted woman, made her leave parking lot.

12:43 p.m., unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and theft reported in the 1000 block of Second Street NE. Report taken.

3:12 p.m., suspicious vehicle in the area of Delaware Avenue; driven by several times. Information to officers, unable to locate.

3:46 p.m., dispute in the 700 block of 10th Street SE, caller said person pushed him and requested police department. Person said he didn't push anyone, verbal only argument. Contacted parties involved, handled.

3:58 p.m., assault in the 500 block of Ninth Street SW. Student in office, wound to arm, unknown if self-inflicted or what. Contacted victim, suspect detained and transported to juvenile detention center on assault 3 charge. Report taken.

Jan. 26

8:59 a.m., assisted outside agency in the 88000 block of Highway 42 South, two suspicious men going down neighbor's driveway and caller has not seen them come out. They were observed in the area night before last. Assistance rendered.

10:32 a.m., fraud reported in the Bandon area, caller said foster child used credit card to make purchase.

11:09 a.m., mental subject in the 400 block of Fourth Street SW. Contacted Westwind, person has been checked on and is doing OK. Handled.

2:42 p.m., verbal disturbance over person stealing plants from property in the 48000 block of Highway 101. Civil issue.

6:08 p.m., fraud reported in the 1200 block of Newport Avenue, caller is receiving scam calls every few minutes. Caller provided number for Department of Justice and Do Not Call List. Handled.

Jan. 27

1:39 a.m., dispute in the area of mile post 258 on U.S. Highway 101, caller said mother is intoxicated and belligerent and walking toward Bandon. Caller transferred to Oregon State Police, information given to Bandon Police Department. Spoke to caller, woman is continuing to walk south.

8:46 a.m., burglary in the 900 block of First Street NE. Caller said someone came into the mudroom and took two bicycles. Report taken.

9:59 a.m., burglary in the 300 block of North Avenue, caller said a shampooer and cans were taken from a covered back porch. Report taken.

11:36 a.m., fraud reported in the 1100 block of 10th Street SE, grandparent scam, no loss. Logged for information, caller provided Oregon Department of Justice number.

3:32 p.m., suspicious vehicle in the 600 block of Seabird Lane, car has flat tire and window is down, vehicle has been there since this morning. Vehicle checked last night, logged for information.

3:45 p.m., driving complaint in the area of mile post 247 on U.S. Highway 101, man on non-emergent line advised that his wife called him saying a black Volvo sedan is south bound and speeding at 85-95 mph and passing in a no-passing zone. Caller transferred to Oregon State Police. Checked area, unable to locate.

6:20 p.m., suspicious conditions in the 900 block of Oregon Avenue, owner found woman in room where he was doing maintenance. She left the room, but left behind her wallet, shoes, etc. Caller advised he did not rent the room out. Located woman, provided courtesy escort to retrieve belongings and to lodging.
