Sept. 14

8:06 a.m., two vehicles parked in front of the No Parking signs on Edison. Handled, all vehicles moved.

3:07 p.m., criminal trespassing in the 100 block of Michigan Avenue. Caller said drug users returned to the house. Made contact with suspects, not as reported.

3:45 p.m., accident at U.S. Highway 101 and Ninth Street. Reporting party was backed into by a semi-truck. Non-injury, car still blocking traffic. Information exchanged.

6:18 p.m., suspicious conditions in the area of Michigan Avenue. Caller said there is a boarded up house across from the apartments, car associated with the house is parked there, someone is digging through the back of the vehicle. Checked area, unable to locate.

7:03 p.m., ongoing issue in the 400 block of Ninth Street Southeast with dog barking. Unable to locate any dog barking.

6:04 p.m., assisting outside agency in the 55000 block of Rosa Road. Dispute between man and woman who are trashing the house. Assistance rendered.

7:08 p.m., as the result of a traffic stop on Rosa Road and 11th Street, cited person with driving while suspended violation.

8:55 p.m., as the result of casual contact at Highway 42S and North Avenue, cited person with driving while suspended violation. Vehicle towed by Mast Bros.

Sept. 15

5:37 a.m., Register Guard newspaper machine has been stolen in the 300 block of Second Street. Report taken. (This is an ongoing problem. Police ask if anyone has information to please contact them.)

Sept. 19

12:51 p.m., suspicious conditions in the area of Harvard Street. Subjects starting to go back into the transient camp.

1:20 p.m., dispute in the 1600 block of Harvard Street. Verbal dispute in roadway, one on a bike, two walking barefoot, headed toward Harlem. Caller's neighbor yelling at the subjects. Contacted, declined to press charges. Subjects warned.

2:23 p.m., driving complaint at mile post 257 on U.S. Highway 101, white Dodge truck with canopy south bound on highway all over the road. Transferred caller to Oregon State Police. Located vehicle, negative intoxication.

2:50 p.m., criminal trespassing at McKays, 65 10th St. SE, person not supposed to be there. Told to leave location.

4:39 p.m., caller in the area of Harvard Street said person is harassing him. No crime.

7:23 p.m. assisting outside agency in the 88000 block of Daisy Lane, two men fighting, has been assault and pushing. Suspect taken to Coos County Jail.

Sept. 21

9:29 a.m., warrant service in the 900 block of Oregon Avenue, arrested Tracy Michelle Nelson, 31, of Canyonville on multiple Douglas County warrants. Taken to Coos County Jail.

3:07 p.m., theft III reported in the 100 block of Baltimore Avenue. Report taken.

3:54 p.m., as the result of a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 101 and Ninth Street, cited person on driving while suspended violation. Vehicle towed by Mast Bros.

5:33 p.m., vicious dog reported in the 1200 block of Beach Loop Road, vacation rental, caller said brown pit bull attacked her and her dog. Handled.

6:16 p.m., criminal trespassing in the 600 block of Fourth Street Southeast, person who was evicted has been there for three months and still hasn't left. Caller requested that he be arrested. Bandon PD called reporting party and left message.

6:51 p.m., dispute in bushes the area of Fourth Street and June Avenue, verbal argument, subjects may have left.

10:13 p.m., suspicious subject in the area of Fourth Street and Ohio Avenue, man yelling that he wants to beat up everyone in the neighborhood. Checked area, unable to lcoate.

11:03 p.m., assisting outside agency at mile post 6 on Highway 42, woman caller is following a possibly intoxicated driver. Caller transferred to Oregon State Police. Checked area, unable to locate. 

Sept. 22

1:19 a.m., dispute in the 1200 block of June Avenue, woman called and said boyfriend twisted her wrists. Declined medical, does not want to pursue harassment charges. Checked area for subject.

1:11 a.m., assisted Coos County Sheriff's Office at Hwy. Deli. 

10:12 a.m., assisted outside agency with accident at mile post 1.5 on Two Mile Lane, man on cell said passerby on bicycle witnessed vehicle go over embankment, subject stuck under vehicle. Call transferred to Bay Cities Ambulance and Bandon Fire Department, assistance rendered.

10:41 a.m., accident at First Street and Oregon Avenue, caller said truck pulling boat on trailer backed up into smaller car. Car is following truck and honking. Parties exchanged information.

11:26 a.m., theft reported in the 300 block of Second Street Southeast. Handled.

1:48 p.m., threats reported in the Bandon area, caller said two men made threatening comments toward young daughter. Contacted caller, logged for information.

5:21 p.m., narcotics investigation in the 60 block of Michigan Avenue. Found narcotics, seized for destruction.

7:03 p.m. littering on Jetty Road, caller reports ongoing problem of beer cans on the side of the road. Logged for information.

8:05 p.m., suspicious conditions in the area of Ninth Street Southeast, woman reports dog has been barking for about 20 minutes, which is very unusual, concerned something may be going on. Logged for information.

11:37 p.m., Suspicious conditions in the 900 block of Ohio Avenue Northeast, caller said she can hear noises outside for the past hour near trailer. Checked area, unable to locate anything.

Sept. 23

11:31 a.m., criminal trespassing at McKay's, 65 10th St. SE, subject panhandling on property, observed by an employee. Arrested Jordan Robert Siemer, 26, of Bandon on a charge of criminal trespassing II and possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.

1:25 p.m., civil problem in the 600 block of Fourth Street Southeast, subject is refusing to leave property, has lived there for the past four months. Caller advised it is a civil matter.

2:15 p.m., damage to city property on the area of Fourth Street and Grand Avenue, subject camped out near location, backed up and ran over utility cover, now item is sitting in the gutter. No apparent damage, case replaced, unknown owner of vehicle. 

2:47 p.m., suspicious vehicle, subject is driving by caller's house in the 800 block of Franklin Avenue, requested patrol checks. Checked area, unable to locate.

6:58 p.m., dogs at large in the area of Riverside Drive Northeast, two brown dogs at large in the road, near bird viewing spot. Information to Bandon PD.

7:58 p.m., criminal trespassing in the 600 block of Fourth Street Southeast, subject came onto property and was refusing to leave, tried to push way into door, left when caller called 911. Logged for information.

Sept. 24

9:01 a.m., assisted outside agency near Safeway at 155 E. First. St. in Coquille, man in the roadway screaming, assistance rendered. 

7:07 a.m., domestic assault reported in the 1200 block of June Avenue, woman assaulted by ex-boyfriend, scraped knee, said she was chocked and thrown to the ground. Declined medical. Arrested Brian Dudley Scott, 25, of Bandon on charges of domestic harassment, kidnapping II, strangulation and menacing. Taken to Coos County Jail.

9:48 a.m., medical assist in the 700 block of Fourth Street Southeast, 70-year-old woman fell on hill outside residence, possible broken leg. Relayed caller to Bay Cities Ambulance, transported by BCA.

1:24 p.m., runaway juvenile reported in the Bandon area, left on foot after foster parent refused to take him to the hospital for panic issue. DHS has custody of juvenile. 

2:43 p.m., theft reported at Ray's Food Place, minor items taken, employee requested telephone contact by BPD and asked that suspect be trespassed from the business. 

3:26 p.m., suspicious subjects reported in the 800 block of First Street Southeast, transients camping in vacant lot facing caller's residence. Checked area, unable to locate.

3:13 p.m., shots fired in the area of mile post 14 on North Bank Road. Vehicle was heading west on North Bank, firing a gun from the vehicle toward the river. Made contact with subject, not as reported. Warned regarding shooting from vehicle.

4 p.m., possible theft reported by clerk in the 600 block of Second Street Southeast. Both parties contacted and trespassed from business.

6:18 p.m., dogs at large, woman caller found two dogs at City Park. 

Sept. 25

2:39 a.m., gas leak reported in the 400 block of Second Street Southeast, woman walking near Shell Station said it smells like propane. Checked area, unable to locate, logged for information.

4 a.m., criminal trespass in the 1100 block of Baltimore Avenue Southeast, in front of Pizza and Pastries, transients possibly partying and making noise, caller asked them to leave and they told him he should leave. Possibly two men, one woman. Does not know if they have a vehicle. Contacted, report taken.

7:20 a.m., illegal camping reported in the area of 11th Street Southwest, tents set up in City Park. Subjects contacted and advised not to camp in city.

8:07 a.m., dispute reported in the area of June Avenue, caller hearing people yelling in the bushes by the baseball field. Subject contacted, warned regarding excessive noise and trespassed from area.

11:06 a.m., theft reported in the 200 block of First Street Southeast. Report taken.

1:33 p.m., suspicious conditions in the area of June Avenue and Second Street, caller said manhole cover has steam coming out of it. City is smoke testing in the area.

2:15 p.m., criminal mischief in the 700 block of Second Street Southeast, caller reported damage to fence by hit-and-run. Contacted, business does not want to pursue charges.

2:34 p.m., assisted public in the 1000 block of Third Street Southeast, caller said smoke coming from bathroom vent, advised city is smoke testing today. Caller requested contact in reference to the health of her clients. Contacted, no hazard, handled. 

3:19 p.m., assisted public in the 200 block of Ohio Avenue Northeast, caller to 911 said smoke is coming from vent. Advised city is testing the lines, logged for information.

3:42 p.m., suspicious conditions in the 700 block of Caroline Avenue, enroute to possible unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Subject trespassed from location.

4:30 p.m., assisted public in the 600 block of Second Street Southeast, caller said smoke is coming from under the building. Advised it is probably from smoke testing. 

5:10 p.m., non-injury accident reported in Bandon Shopping Center. Information exchanged.

6:04 p.m., criminal trespassing in the 1000 block of Harlem Avenue, caller said elderly man took package off of porch and left in dark green four-door SUV. Not as reported, subject was delivering package. Caller wants subject trespassed.

6:20 p.m., abandoned vehicle on Jetty Road, older gray pick-up has been parked there for approximately two weeks. Vehicle belongs to owner of property, it is on private property.

7:31 p.m., suspicious subjects in the 1100 block of Baltimore Avenue Southeast, ongoing issue with transients on property at night. Caller contacted.

11:10 p.m., suspicious subject in the 600 block of Second Street Southeast, male unconsicious up against utility box. Caller transferred to Bay Cities Ambulance, subject taken by BCA. 

11:38 p.m., warrant service, Southern Coos Hospital said subject is in emergency room stating he has outstanding warrants. Not as reported, subject not wanted.

Sept. 26

11:23 a.m., theft of long board reported at police department, report taken.

12:48 p.m., threats reported in the 100 block of 12th Street Southeast, contacted location, no suspect information.

2:44 p.m., stolen vehicles recovered at 65 10th St. SE, caller sees a possible stolen vehicle in McKay's parking lot, occupied by four people. Recovered stolen vehicle and arrested Austin William Benavidez, 19, of Port Orford, on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Taken to Coos County Jail, stolen vehicle located.

5:57 p.m., driving complaint at mile post 256 on U.S. Highway 101, woman on cell said a grey car is coming to a complete stop, then speeding up over 80 mph. Call transferred to Oregon State Police.

6:15 p.m., dispute reported in the 700 block of 10th Street, two men fighting. Contacted subjects, verbal only.

6:21 p.m., attempt to locate drunk driver in the area of Ninth Street Southeast, man got into van with a beer in his hands. There are also children in the vehicle. Checked area, unable to locate.

8:02 p.m., intoxicated subject reported at South Jetty, contacted, no indication of intoxication.

Sept. 27

8:27 a.m., burglary reported in the 50000 block of Highway 101, caller said woman just broke into Sea Breeze Mini Storage, possibly two women, one of them took off in white four-door car with California plates, woman entered building through sliding door and shut it behind her. Contacted woman, she was trespassed from the location.

8:57 a.m., caller in the 49000 block of Highway 101 requested contact by Bandon PD regarding a vehicle left on her property after a traffic stop. Contacted caller, vehicle is parked on private property. 

11:27 a.m., casual contact in the 900 block of Ohio Avenue Southeast, flagged down by citizen who said dogs are loose in the area. Dogs returned to owner.

2:11 p.m., woman caller in the 900 block of Oregon Avenue said smoke is coming out of sewer drainage. Advised the city is smoke testing.

2:58 p.m., assisted public in the 47000 block of Highway 101, bus dropped off kindergartner early, said there was no parent at location to pick him up. Assistance rendered.

3:34 p.m., possible criminal trespassing in the 600 block of Second Street Southeast, business owner will review video footage to identify subject. Arrested Jordan Robert Siemer, 26, on charge of trespassing II. Taken to Coos County Jail.

10:02 p.m., loud music complaint in the 1000 block of Grand Avenue, caller said neighbor is playing loud music. Called back and said music was turned off.

Sept. 28

12:46 a.m., suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Alabama Avenue, caller is stopped a few hundred yards down the road, hears aggressive talking on Second Street, near farmers market. Vehicle has left area. Logged for information.
