BANDON - Day By Day Fitness, formerly Fast and Fit Women's Circuit Workout, is holding an open house gathering from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, inviting the public to attend and check out the facility and additions that have occurred since the name change.
At the event, get a full gym tour, meet instructors, make a vision board for the new year, enjoy snacks and watch some exciting entertainment. The talented Makayla Wingert of North Bend will be performing hula hoop, some pole dancing and there will be a disco dance party at nightfall. Women of all ages are welcome to attend and get more information about the 24-hour facility, ask for demonstrations and check out the gym's machines. Those who are already members can come, hang out, bring a friend and show them where they work out (don’t forget about Day By Day's referral program).
There will be a Damsel In Defense table as well, with a line of stun-guns, pepper sprays and women’s protection products that independent Damsel In Defense pro Shayla Carpenter, owner of Day By Day Fitness, sells as well as a sign-up sheet for the next concealed weapons permit class. Those interested can also schedule appointments for the gym and EmpowerHours at that time.
Bandon Police Officer Cory Dhillion will be available to demonstrate some self-defense moves during the open house.
There will also be a vision board table available so anyone who wants to can make one. Bring some magazines to add to the pile. Day By Day Fitness will supply poster boards and glue for this free event.
