Dec. 30

1:23 p.m., man called requesting the U.S. Coast Guard for a boat that is hitting against the rocks on the North Jetty. Caller transferred to Coast Guard. Subjects able to get out of the water on North Jetty. Boat floated out to sea.

1:45 p.m., domestic harassment reported in the 1200 block of Harlem St. Unable to locate suspect.

Dec. 31

12 a.m., car playing loud music in the area of Fourth and Michigan.

1:02 a.m., assisted outside agency with crash team callout on North Bay Road.

10 p.m., Coos County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a disturbance in the 55000 block of Prosper Junction Road. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Andrew McClelland, 20, of Bandon, who was in the roadway without shoes and visibly intoxicated. McClelland had allegedly caused unease at two residences in the area as a result of his intoxication. He was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct and taken to the Coos County jail without incident.

6:51 p.m., Bay Cities Ambulance advised a suicidal person is sitting in the lobby in the 1000 block of Portland Avenue drinking coffee. Assistance rendered.

9:21 p.m., medical alarm in the 1100 block of Second Street Southeast, suicidal woman attempted overdose, transported by Bay Cities Ambulance.

Jan. 2

11:58 a.m., theft reported in the 1100 block of Eighth Street Northeast. Report taken for second-degree theft.

Jan. 4

1:43 p.m., possible burglary in progress in the 700 block of Edison Street.

4:27 p.m., incoming helicopter at Southern Coos Hospital, assistance rendered by Bandon police.

5:10 p.m., skateboarders riding down the middle of the hill toward Old Town almost caused an accident. Information given to Bandon police, area checked, unable to locate any skateboarders.

Jan. 5

2:04 a.m., officer flagged down by citizen, reported man dressed in dark clothing riding a bike on U.S. Highway 101 near Harlem Avenue, citizen almost hit him. Subject contacted, warned to stay off the road when riding.

10:17 a.m., emergency message delivered to residence in the 2800 block of Oregon Avenue.

12:04 p.m., man on cellphone called to say a man collapsed climbing up stairs by South Jetty. Assistance rendered.

12:28 p.m., man yelling obscenities at people going in and out of the library, 1204 11th St. S.W.

4:33 p.m., deceased person at Heritage Place, 1000  Sixth St. S.E. Amling Schroeder notified.

Jan. 6

4:47 a.m., assault reported in the 800 block of Third Street Southeast.

Jan. 7

8:29 a.m., line down in the 800 block of Jackson Avenue. Will check and advise. Phone line, Frontier notified.

10:52 a.m., person brought in drug paraphernalia to the police department. Scheduled for destruction.

8:37 p.m., prowler reported in the 800 block of First Street Northeast. Information to Bandon Police Department.

Jan. 9

9:44 a.m., arrested Justin Dale Perry, 35, of Bandon, at 51474 Pioneer Road on a charge of probation violation per probation officer. Taken to Coos County jail.

6:29 p.m., irate customer was reported to have come in to business in the 1100 block of Baltimore Avenue Southeast. Caller wanted to report the information in case customer came back tomorrow. Logged.

Jan. 10

4:20 p.m., two suspicious men behind Price ‘n Pride by the trail.

Jan. 11

2:08 a.m., woman wandered from care facility in the 400 block of Fourth Street Southwest. Woman located. Information to Bay Cities Ambulance.

Jan. 14

10:03 a.m., stalking reported in the 100 block of Baltimore Avenue. Information to Bandon police.

3:33 p.m., juvenile problem on Ninth Street Southwest.

Jan. 16

8:20 a.m., arrested Larry King, 38, of Bandon, on a charge of violating a restraining order in the 800 block of Allegheny Avenue. Taken to Coos County jail.

1:02 p.m., principal in the 1000 block of Allegheny requested officer to counsel some students. Assistance rendered.

4:29 p.m., as the result of a traffic stop, cited Dale Cumpston, 27, of Bandon, on a charge of driving while suspended. Released to passenger.

Jan. 17

3:41 a.m., after responding to a dispute between two women in the 200 block of Ninth Street Southeast, arrested Angelica Ulmer, 18, of Bandon on a charge of domestic harassment. Taken to Coos County jail.
