Coos County Animal Shelter Pets of the Week

Meet this week’s dog and cat available for adoption at the Coos County Animal Shelter in The World’s feature, “Pets of the Week.”
This week’s pets are:
• Dog of the Week Mandy, who’s described as a sweet, 6-year-old spayed female Chocolate Lab mix, with special needs. Her adoption includes a special package and her case number is D09-248.
• Cats of the Week are Hildie, Hollie and Hattie, 8-month-old shorthair Calicos. Their adoptions include low-cost spays. Their case numbers are C983, C984 and C985.
Last week’s cat, Dutch, was adopted.
The Coos County Animal Shelter is at 92960 Southport Road south of Coos Bay. Shelter hours are from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
