A memorial service will be held for Matthew Gary Ramey, 43, of St. Helens at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at the Port Orford Christian Center in Port Orford. Graveside services will follow at the Port Orford Cemetery.

Katherine Walters
No public services or viewing will be held for Katherine Helen Walters 82, of North Bend. Cremation Rites have been held at Ocean View Memory Gardens Crematory in Coos Bay. Her urn will be buried next to her parents at Green Hills Cemetery in San Pedro, Calif.

Joyce Bell-Johnson
Joyce Bell-Johnson — 74, of Port Orford, died Nov. 5, 2009, in Port Orford. Arrangements are pending with Myrtle Grove Funeral Service-Bay Area, (800) 396-3158.

A celebration of life service will be held for James Rutland of Coos Bay at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Coos Bay Chapel, Seventh and Anderson with Dr. Jerry Hamilton officiating. Cremation Rites will take place at Ocean View Memory Gardens Crematorium in Coos Bay.

A memorial service will be held for Houston Newton Barton, 91, of Gold Beach at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 94191 Third St., Gold Beach.
