The Critical Thinking Co., a North Bend publisher of educational books and software, received an award for a new mathematics book.

Mathematical Reasoning Beginning 2 was reviewed and evaluated by a variety of sources including experts and families. Results were compiled and submitted to the Moonbeam Executive Committee for final approval.

It was named one of Moonbeam’s outstanding products of 2009.

Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards are designed to bring increased recognition to exemplary children’s books and their creators, and to support childhood literacy and lifelong reading.
