"It (war) is sometimes necessary if we the U.S. want to live and help others live in peace."
..equates to...
"If we want people to have peace we need to go to war against them."
Maybe if Iraq had ever gone to war with us (or was going to war against an ally). They didn't/weren't. It wasn't necessary (or well advised). Thousands killed. Millions displaced. 7 years and ongoing. All unnecessary. They fight us because we're there. They will continue to fight each other whether or not we are there.
- also -
A crazy people shooting others in Ft. Hood is no different than crazy people shooting others in Orlando. People, including Christians, do crazy stuff, sometimes in the name of religion/god, sometimes due to mental instability or other personal situations in life.
Though Muslims have condemned this act, that won't stop others, like you, from blaming it on one aspect of that person's background. Sad.
Just saying...

Wow! Your about two slices of bread short of a sandwich. No one likes war including the Rep. It is sometimes necessary if we the U.S. want to live and help others live in peace. We just had another muslim attack at Fort Hood, Texas and you ain't seen nothin yet.

I'm still very unhappy about the wars, but the difference is that the rest of our lives aren't going to be dedicated to war so that Cheney can line his pockets.

Fake Barack Obama, re: end of America as we 'know' it - GOOD!!!!! I hope the America that we've known for the last 8 years can be over! the one of waterboarding and taking us into wars we have no place starting. Also, I hope the America of hate and inequality can finally be over. I hope that we rise up to how great we can be as a country and help our poor by making things better for all of us through reform of health care. Those that don't want change are happy with corporate control over the masses who follow blindly while our own citizens suffer. Goodbye to the America that let New Orleans drown because the sections that were most likely to housed the blacks and the poor..... good riddance to your America. Enjoy your struggle to keep it - the kids of today and those in their 20's want nothing to do with the ignorance in the past - you will all die off and the America you knew will be DEAD with you.

We just got the wrong one this time.
I think a blank space for President would have been a better choice.
If we ALL wrote in the space "neither one", do you think they would let us start all over again ?

If the Republican candidate had been a better one, he would have won. That's not saying, of course, that the Dem candidate and current president are perfect, but it certainly says a lot about who was running against him. You can dislike Obama all you like, I don't care, but at least take 30 seconds to remember the cluelessness McCain was the posterchild for when it became obvious the country was having a financial problem.

You forgot the corporate shills. Don't kid yourself into thinking they're not doing their fair share to run this great country into the ground. You might at least tell the WHOLE story if you're going to use the ink.

Politicians - who we, the people, elect to enact legislation, run agencies, and allocate taxpayer $,$$$,$$$,$$$,$$$.$$
Despots - persons with absolute power, often a tyrant. Well, we can see how much is (not) getting done in government currently, so I'm not sure why this was brought up.
Lobbyists - should probably be outlawed. Until such a time, they are (unfortunately) just doing their job; buying influence.
Czars - a title lazy journalists have used since Nixon years to describe administrators of certain agencies. Lazy journalists' title = lazy critics' insult.
Attorneys - Again, just doing their job. (*see Lobbyists above)
Minions - People who are led to believe community organizers are inherently evil, "czars" is a new term turning us into the next USSR, and voters aren't responsible for the quality of leadership in government. (*see liars below)
Liars - Lazy people who call people names instead of talking about issues.
