The first ever South Coast Talent Show will be held this weekend and next at the Sprague Community Theater in Bandon, beginning with the audition round at 7 tonight and Saturday. Half of the artists will move on to the competition round at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, and the final round will be held on Saturday, Aug. 29.
A variety of talent is expected including dancing, instrumentals, skits and singers of all ages.
The judges will be Donna Crouch, Ken Gregg, Cathy Underdown, Marilyn Williams, Peter Braun, Ed Backholm, Ruthanne McSurdy-Wong, Janice Kendall and Paul Comfort.
Competitors will include Sari Withers, Josiah Hay, Lori Straley, Cody Hiser, Amber Hammon, Lucy Merriam, Vicki Affatati, John Kight, Teri Straley, Bill Binnewies, Star Moralez and Hope Hay; and Jay Straley, Zeta Hay, Luke and Strider Kachelein, Aria Giovannetti, Tanya DePoalo, Ashley McBroom, Hoyt Richardson, Claire Tynefield, Russel Hay, Kelly Straley, Alexius Harris, Alyssa Birrer and Heather Bouher.
