Beachcombers celebrate birthday

The Beachcombers Square Dance Club of Port Orford will host a 57th birthday celebration today, Saturday and Sunday. The celebration will kick off with a casual square dance today, and activities will continue Saturday with a float in the local parade, a demo at Battle Rock Park and a Plus workshop that afternoon.
The Birthday Dance will be held Saturday night with featured caller Jim Voll of Lebanon.
A fundraiser breakfast including ham, eggs and all-you-can-eat pancakes will be held Sunday morning, July 5. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under.
